SQY-T was born in Shanghai in August, 2007.

SQY-T is a T-shirt label created especially for the people who pursuit quality life and have become immersed within our internationalised culture. SQY-T understands their desire for individuality and self-value embodiment and the fashion in accordance with those demands.

T-shirt is the most democratic garment in the world and is worn by people from around the globe. To SQY-T, T-shirt is a blank canvas and the world's most democratic display platform on which we can set our desires, observations, as well as political convictions free. With innovative perspective and creative means, SQY-T is devoted to exceed the regular positioning of T-shirt as a fashion garment, to develop T-shirt into a medium for true self-expression, like a sketchbook, to write down our observation and thinking during the journey of life.

SQY-T puts emphasis on the inner meaning of the design and insight into daily life. Culture, politics, economics, and art are all SQY-T's interests and inspirational resources. To SQY-T, visual aesthetics is not the only criterion for judging a T-shirt. In order to maintain the value of each concept, every design of SQY-T is created as limited edition. No more than 50 pieces will be manufactured for each design. The wearer can find an SQY-T limited edition number on each of our feature product – short sleeved T-shirt with a full garment print.

All the designs are categorized by theme and will be launched regularly in SQY-T store and website every month. With an operational model similar to magazine publishing, SQY-T is able to keep the sensibility to the latest trend and new happenings, and is able to reflect its observation in the T-shirt design in time.
